KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Delivery of financial and management reports and taking responsibility for the accounts function, compliance tasks, month end reporting, general analysis, process and reconciliation tasks and improving the accounting and reporting function.
Specific responsibility for managing Accounts / Processing staff
Supervision of Philippines based cross functional-staff including managing attendance, ensuring the team is productive and a positive culture is maintained.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ownership and Preparation of Month End Accounts and Management Reporting including:
Month end analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, posting month end journals (accruals and prepayments) and completion of supporting month end spreadsheets
Ability to manage and/or perform a Full Function Accounts process including:
Accounts Payable: process invoices, purchase orders, payments and liaising with suppliers
Payroll – fortnightly/monthly staff
Accounts Receivable: collection (minimal)
Owning Compliance procedures – IAS/BAS preparation, Payroll Tax & Payroll Tax rebate lodgment, Superannuation
Assisted by Tax Agent and CFO
Management of Accounts email (predominantly supplier invoices and requests)
Assisting in the completion of daily operational reconciliations as required e.g. matching stock receipted to invoiced values and investigating and resolving differences
Conduct other value add analysis, investigations and ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
Developing policies, procedures and manuals for the business
Assist senior management and other departments as required
