ASSOCIATE, GLOBAL DEBT SERVICES PLATFORM (IT)

Morrow Sodali is a leading provider of strategic advice and shareholder services to corporate clients. With operations across the US, EMEA and APAC Markets, we provide corporate boards and executives with strategic advice and services relating to corporate governance, shareholder and bondholder communication and engagement, capital markets intelligence, proxy solicitation, shareholder activism and mergers and acquisitions.

Duties and responsibilities

- Maintaining and supporting the proprietary online platform used by Morrow Sodali’s Global Debt Services team.
- Ensuring platform operates smoothly and efficiently by providing timely troubleshooting and technical support to resolve user issues and inquiries.
- Coding development to implement system changes and enhancements to the platform.
- Investigating and addressing reported bugs and errors promptly, while also conducting thorough testing to ensure the platform's stability and reliability.
- Support specific projects related to the Global Debt Services platform, by actively participating in project planning meetings and provide technical insights to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop new features for the platform over time based on client needs and industry trends.

Minimum competencies

- Prior experience or exposure to the financial services industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging protocols and integration is advantageous.
- Familiarity with C# development is a plus.
- Experience with batch/shell scripting is advantageous.
- Understanding of HTML and DOM concepts is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and convey technical information.
- Proven ability to work as part of a remote team, ensuring effective communication and task completion, as well as high attention to detail.

Additional requirements

- Ability to create and understand flowcharts and system diagrams.
- SQL Server/MySQL familiarity or experience.
- Proficiency with designing PowerPoint presentations.

Minimum qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Python development.
