To support the Company’s expanding global market reach it opened a Regional Headquarters in the Philippines, at the heart of the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Duties and responsibilities

The Associate Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end preparation of client reports to enable Morrow Sodali to provide strategic advice and services relating to shareholder identification, proxy vote solicitation and capital markets intelligence.

Day to day activity of the Associate Analyst is in the data collection and research, analysis and processing of data needed in relevant clients handled, reports generation, query resolution from market participants (investors or intermediaries) or internal colleagues and maintaining and administering to the database; participate in all mandated training and meeting sessions, contribute to improving processes by identifying areas for improvement or automation.

Minimum competencies

We are seeking candidates with a good understanding of financial markets, sell-side and buy-side interaction.

With 2 to 3 years’ experience in shareholder identification, proxy solicitation, monitoring and tracking global investors.

Fluent in Cantonese, as well as with excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, able to effectively communicate with external and internal counterparts in a timely manner.

A must for candidates to demonstrate a proven attention to detail. Possess a patient and conscientious attitude when working with multiple data sets, able to navigate through large spreadsheets without getting lost in extracting relevant data; thoroughly researching using all available sources.

With excellent English communication skills both written and oral to effectively communicate with external and internal counterparts in a timely manner.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 especially Excel, as with other tools and sites such as SharePoint, NetSuite.

Must be willing to work on-site at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig or on alternative work arrangements as may be necessary.

Must be willing to work on shifts that overlap with counterparts in EMEA (and possibly, in time, the US). When called for, must also be willing to work on over-time, including on Philippine holidays.
