AUDIT SUPPORT ANALYST

Okta is looking for a highly motivated team member to take a lead role in driving our SOX compliance and effectiveness. This role will be working cross-functionally with the Sales Org, Sales Ops, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, Equity, IT, and HR teams and will be responsible for performing annual reviews of service organization SOC reports and evaluating the results for impact to Okta's current environment. This individual will also assist with completeness and accuracy testing over key reports used in the performance of SOX controls. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who brings with them 3+ years of public accounting experience.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities, include (but not limited to):

· Obtain and review service organization SOC reports and review results for any control impact to Okta's SOX program, including identifying and mapping complementary end user controls.

· Fully understand, prepare, inspect, analyze, and document procedures performed to evidence completeness and accuracy of the Information Produced by the Entity (IPE) and/or Information Used in the Performance of the Control (IUC) procedures.

· Distribute and track completeness of key report completeness and accuracy testing to ensure compliance with SOX control timelines.

· Drive process and systems improvements related to completeness and accuracy procedures

· Provide cross-functional support and act as the point of contact regarding IPE/IUC related inquiries and requests

· Maintain, document, and adhere to internal controls to ensure Sox and policy compliance

· Ad Hoc projects and requests, as needed

 

Requirements:

· 3+ years of public accounting experience

· Understanding of SOC reports, Information Produced by the Entity (IPE) and/or Information Used in the Performance of the Control (IUC)

· BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or other quantitative fields preferred

· Thinks and works precisely

· Strong skills with new technologies

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and delivering against deadlines

· Ability to work cross-functionally in a role which supports multiple business partner
