We are looking for Cabinet Makers who are proficient with 3D CAD and have experience with coordinating CAD drawings through to CNC manufacturing output.

As an AutoCAD Drafter (Cabinet Making) you will be responsible for preparing 3D CAD models of interior fit-out projects, to be used in the production of the joinery using CNC machinery

Interior fit-out projects range from residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and bespoke

You will be working alongside our construction management and project coordination team, required to take handover of digested project information, and preparing accurate 3D CAD models FOR CONSTRUCTION, and prepare a cutting list and CNC output.

Training in our specific methodologies and upskill training within our range of software will be provided for successful candidates.

The main responsibilities of an AUTOCAD DRAFTER (CABINET MAKING) include:

• Must have experience in Cabinet Making
• Read, understand, and interpret construction/shop drawings
• Complete Set Out drawings accurately within time expectations
• Produce and relay important set-out information
• Complete output to CNC manufacture, cutting lists and order documentation as required
• Identify ways to improve systems or processes.
• Be willing to work overtime

To apply for the role, you must have the following:

• Proficiency in 3D cad packages, preferably PYTHA 3D CAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision or Mozaik
• High quality of workmanship and attention to detail—Quality assurance of all completed jobs
• Able to read, analyze, understand and interpret architect/client/joinery drawings, set out jobs and provide
  accurate and detailed cutting lists or drawings for manufacturing and installing.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Experience working within a cabinet/joinery environment
• Knowledge of cabinet hardware, mechanisms, and materials
• A good working and technical knowledge around fit out, cabinet making, and furniture
• High competency levels in the manufacture of high-quality Joinery
• Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and work in a multitasking environment
• Strong analytical and organizational skills-strong attention to detail is essential for success in this
  product CAD draftsman role
• Ability to work with a team at all levels of the organization
• Construction knowledge with an extensive cabinetmaking/shop fitting background
• Understanding of specifications for projects.
• Practical knowledge of WHS
