The Manila branch office of Coral Active is looking for a Business Analyst who will oversee the company’s Cloud hosted solutions for enterprise contact centers.

● HMO for staff and eligible dependents upon hiring (500K for principal, 500k for dependent) Eligible dependents up to 5, children up to 25 yrs old coverage

● Initial 15 days Leave (prorated, sick and vacation) and additional 10 leaves after one year (25 total after one year)

● To observe Australian (Melbourne) holidays or US Holidays depending on assigned client

● Paid Philippine holidays less the Australian/US holidays (swap)

● 2 connections are required, 1 as a backup (BCP or Business Continuity Plan)

Working hours:

● Philippine hours - Monday to Friday: 1am – 10 am (US Shift Schedule, flexible depending on the business needs)

● There would be schedules that you will be on an on-call arrangement. Could be a mid-shift or graveyard shift, but not on a regular basis Perks

● Occasional Team Lunch every fortnight (usually Friday)

● Team Building activities every quarter

Reporting to:

● Philippine (MTO) Manager and Director in Sydney


The main responsibilities of a BUSINESS ANALYST include:

  • Build an understanding of the digital assets intimately and ensure that any new functionality is aligned with the intent of the asset
  • Be the communication path between IT delivery teams and project managers/stakeholders
  • Facilitate kick-off, Discovery, and deep dive sessions with stakeholders and the development team to articulate user stories, acceptance criteria, and process improvements.
  • Documentation of features to the appropriate standards
  • Continually groom the backlog to ensure an adequate pipeline of prioritized work is available
  • Work with Customer and User Experience teams to support the development of customer research, user testing, conceptual and user interface designs,
  • Undertake feature reviews, review of estimations showcases, and reporting
  • Act as a proxy when the Solution Lead or Product Owner is not available for detailed decisions or for periods of time
  • Conduct research, modeling, forecasting, measuring, and reporting to support business decisions required for the solution
  • Provide quality review/feedback of project artifacts where applicable.


To apply for the role, you must have the following:

  • Previous experience working in a project environment
  • Previous experience in an IT/Digital facing business analysis role is mandatory
  • Knowledge & understanding of the Telco industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of Digital Technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication is essential
  • Good working knowledge of process improvement principles and methods
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills and experience in leading workshops
  • Experience prioritizing competing demands from stakeholders with the ability to get buy-in and resolve conflicts
  • Experience with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices
  • Experience with modeling business processes utilizing a variety of tools and techniques
  • A genuine passion for problem-solving
  • The ability to work and collaborate with UX folks would be highly desirable
