COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE

Career Objective 

The Incentives Compliance Associate/ Specialist is expected to work together with the entire Compliance Team in pursuit of a common goal. It is expected that he/she is capable of efficiently performing his/her assigned tasks and aid the Legal and Compliance department to achieve the overall department objective/s. He/She must ensure that the Company is 100% compliant with ALL relevant Governmental Regulations & standards while utilizing all the tax incentives provided by various Investment Promotions Agencies (IPA) .

As a Compliance Associate for the Incentives Team, you are expected to support the team in assisting clients and other concerned stakeholders on their applications and other statutory compliance related concerns to various IPA's (PEZA, BOI, CDC etc.) and other relevant Government Agencies.  

Job Description:

• To familiarize process, monitor and ensure the internal compliances of KMC and Apex companies with various IPA's and other relevant government agencies

• Assist clients and other stakeholders in addressing concerns relating to applications and other statutory compliance related concerns to various IPA's (PEZA, BOI, CDC etc.) and other relevant Government Agencies

• Coordinate with other departments in securing the necessary details and documents to ensure 100% compliance;

• Updates weekly report needed for Mancom reporting

• Ensure proper filing, archiving and tagging of physical documents in the filing cabinet;

• Creating and Plotting of Compliance Calendar

• Maintaining an organize storage file (One Drive & ZDrive) for seamless referencing

• Ensures 0% SLA breach on assigned tickets

• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Has a 1-2 years of experience in the mentioned field or in relation hereto (not required but preferably has a background in working or transacting with PEZA, BOI and other IPA's)

• Graduate of 4-year degree course in Accounting, Business Administration, Political Science, Legal Management or any other related 

• Good Teamplayer 

• Has a good comprehension and keen to details

• Analytical and critical thinker

• Good in verbal and writing business communication skills especially in dealing with various clients and other stakeholders

• Goal oriented

• Possesses basic skills in MS tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Visio etc.) and other applications that may be used from time to time
