DESIGN INTERN

 

Functional Overview:

KMC Design team’s technical and administrative assistant who provides support with regards to project and design research, documentation and floorplan creation.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• CAD drafting and encoding work
• Assist in design tasks such as material sourcing, accessorizing, drafting and other ad hoc tasks that may be assigned
• Assists in maintaining and organizing design materials, compliance documents and post-construction related documents and files
• Ability to work efficiently and autonomously
• Provides assistance to other design and compliance related ad hoc tasks

Skills:

• Must know how to read architectural drawings and/or engineering drawings
• Basic or advance knowledge in Autocad and other design related software
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Fluent in verbal and written English
• Have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Coordinates with internal departments as necessary to efficiently execute project and design requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate in Interior Design or Architecture course
• Familiarity in using Design Software (Enscape, Vray, AutoCad, Sketch Up, Ms Office, etc.)

KPI:

• Accuracy of work output
• Timeliness of submission of assigned tasks
