High-level experience in Developing Instrumentation Specifications and RFQ package assembly
Coordinating with and Reviewing Vendor Drawings and Documentation
High-level experience in assisting and developing design packages for Review, Bidding, Approval and
Construction
Design package and Instrument Equipment Specification Checking
Ability to scope projects, develop Instrument and Control System detailed engineering manhour
estimates
Able to understand and perform work in customary United States units of measurements (pounds,
inches, feet, Fahrenheit)
Highly capable of effective communication and coordination with other disciplines
(civil/structural/piping/electrical, etc.)
Able to effectively review interdiscipline squad checks packages
Capable of seamlessly working multiple projects simultaneously
Create instrument datasheets in ISA format for pressure transmitters, control valves, flow meters,
temperature transmitters
Be able to size control valves and understand vendor sizing calculations
Able to size orifice plates
Capable of planning, prioritizing and executing multiple projects either from start to finish, or finishing
projects and tasks started, but not completed, by others
Attends intercompany and/or client meetings and document the decisions, tasks and Action Items
accordingly
Ability to manage and document project scope changes
Effectively maintain project budgets, deliverables and schedules
Experience in developing and/or modifying PFD’s and P&ID’s
Develop instrument indexes and I/O lists
Experience with DCS such as DeltaV, Honeywell or Yokogawa
Experience with PLC systems such as Allen Bradley ControlLogix
Experience in overseeing development of block diagrams, loop diagrams, junction box BOM/layout
drawings, wiring diagrams, DCS component BOM/layouts and IO wiring diagrams
Experience in writing detailed scope of work documents

Proficiency in all AutoCad Applications (Highly Recommended)
