JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Onboarding Coordinator Department: People Services
Reports To: Onboarding Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary


Responsibilities and Duties
The following responsibilities and duties must be successfully performed, without or without reasonable accommodation:
1) Audit all incoming offer letters
2) Download accepted offer letters to the approved employee folder
3) Launch and follow through on all onboarding for new hires, to include: document retrieval/save, I9 verification and
e-Verify completion
4) Launch, monitor and audit all incoming background checks and drug screens
5) Ensure that each piece of onboarding is completed prior to start date of the new hire
6) Maintain communication with all new recruits to assist them with the onboarding process, this includes assistance
with problems, onboarding questions, etc.
7) Update and complete all document requirements for employee folders to include: resume, IDs, assessments and
internet speeds as well as clean background and drug screens
8) Maintain the hiring tracker
9) Create and distribute all required new hire lists such as the IT credential request, Payroll/Onboarding request and
any
10) Communicates and collaborates with recruiting team to ensure all information is correct for each new hire
11) Understands all HR policies related to I9 completion
12) Uses excellent listening skills to receive, process and document detailed information.


Skills
1) Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and correspondence. 
2) Ability to deal with urgent and high volume requests 
3) Computer skills required to include the ability to navigate through multiple programs; comfortable with dual 
screens; basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.
4) Great data entry and organizational skills


Qualifications 
1) High school degree or General Education Degree (GED) required

Physical Demand:

This is a largely sedentary position which requires Team Member to remain stationary for the majority of 
the work day. The Team Member will need to occasionally move about inside an office setting to access office machinery. 
The Team Member will constantly use good manual dexterity with repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers.
This role relies heavily on vision sufficient to work with a computer monitor including close vision, color vision, depth 
perception, and ability to adjust focus with good hand-eye coordination. Team Member will continuously use excellent 
hearing and listening skills to receive detailed information through oral communication. Team Member will seldom be 
required to move or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
