JD Edwards (JDE) Functional Analyst - Assets/Plant Maintenance



  • Key Qualifications
  • • Minimum 8 years’ experience working with JDE EnterpriseOne (various modules) including functions such as Finance, HR, Payroll, Inventory, Job Costing, Assets & Plant Maintenance
  • • Minimum 5 years’ experience specializing in JDE EnterpriseOne Finance Assets & Plant Maintenance in a lead role
  • • Business Analysis skills/experience, including evaluating requirements, working through issues & solution requirements with customers, functional activities
  • • 5+ years systems analysis, as well as process improvement/change management activities
  • • Software development skills/awareness desirable (languages optional)
  • • Work independently as well as in teams in a challenging environment
  • • Proven track record of delivering work/project on time without exceeding the budget
  • • Proficient in oral & written communication for effective interaction with clients & other stakeholders
  • • Address critical & problematic situations with ease & analytical thinking
  • Technical Skills
  • • Oracle EnterpriseOne (JDE) 9.1 or above
  • • Oracle EnterpriseOne (JDE) 3rd party & associated tools such as BI Publisher (XMLP), BSSV, Star Query & Insight, Oracle Database SQL
  • • Knowledge of OMW & all aspects of the Oracle EnterpriseOne (JDE) Development Lifecycle
  • • Proficient software testing

Role Expectations

  • Role Purpose
  • The JD Edwards (JDE) Functional Analyst role is responsible for supporting the business in the development cycle of Information Systems from inception, through to delivery, including internal change management & development of JDE EnterpriseOne systems, ensuring system delivery to the requirements of the business users & their processes.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • • Develop relationships with key internal & external business stakeholders
  • • Works closely with business users on how best to use the system to perform daily functions & identify project requirements through interviews, workshops, operations analysis & best practices research
  • • Participate in JDE development project delivery for projects
  • • Work with stakeholders to prioritize collected requirements based on risk, benefit & scope
  • • Document requirements to detail application requirements, solution design, adherence to JDE best practice & metrics
  • • Analyze & develop functional specifications when required to support enhancement work
  • • Own solutions from a hands-on configuration & functional perspective & governs all changes (break-fix & minor enhancements)
  • • Provide the bridge between the business & development teams to ensure functional requirements are understood & ensure development requirements integrated
  • • Utilize strong analytical abilities to identify root causes of business issues
  • • Provide Functional support in the nominated area
