We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative Revenue Accountant, who has strong experience with core Accounting practices. You will partner with Revenue Accounting leadership and partners to help scale existing processes and systems and provide reporting and decision making support. The ideal candidate will exhibit superior analytical abilities, have prior experience working with Accounting / Finance teams at high-growth companies, and possess strong technical accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Reconcile customer accounts, research and resolve unapplied/unidentified payments 

2. Prepare journal entries to ensure compliance with GAAP accounting under ASC 606, accruals, cash accounting reclasses

3. Assist in the preparation of our Accounts Receivable reserve on a monthly basis

4. Assist with month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations and other month-end activities as needed

5. Assist with month-end variance analysis in FloQast

6. Prepare audit support for team & ensure processes are SOX compliant

7. Assist in ad-hoc projects including UATs

8. Identify, maintain and report on the global allowance for doubtful accounts

9. Ensure SOX controls are operating effectively and conform to all legal and regulatory accounting and tax requirements

10. Collaborate in system implementation or enhancement projects and assist with UATs as needed.

11. Assist management in customer problem resolution and provide meaningful recommendations in decision-making

Requirements:

1. 4+ years of accounting experience including at least 2+ years in public accounting and/or a technical accounting role in a multinational public company 

2. Knowledge and hands-on experience working with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards

3. Netsuite and Zuora experience - ideal candidate is intermediate / proficient with Netsuite features 

4. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

5. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and take ownership of work

6. Detail oriented: able to work with large volumes of data with speed and accuracy. Ability to self-check work

7. Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs

8. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

9. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and common goals

10. Strong knowledge of key accounting concepts, GAAP, SOX controls

11. Time management to ensure timely completion of given tasks with accuracy

12. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred
