As Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our sales, business development, and operations teams on everyday tasks such as order entry, sales proposal creation, order tracking, partner and prospect partner data entry, data gathering, and ad-hoc data analysis. This role will collaborate across our business development and sales teams as well as work with operations (customer service, warehousing and delivery, and merchandising), supporting Fernish’s vision to radically elevate the consumer experience of creating a home around the pillars of convenience, flexibility, and sustainability.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to move from executing simple administrative tasks to data analysis and reporting, often participating in feedback to help improve processes for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities: (always changing)

· Sales proposal creation (using existing tools and processes, with input from sales conversations for final choices)

· Entering orders into Fernish’s ordering system

· Data gathering for input into sales presentations and sales and operations planning

· Recording metrics and data for various deals and partners so that our sales pipeline and sales lead tracking system reflects accurate and timely data

· Create new items in our systems

· Assisting sales team with creation of presentations for potential partners

· Communicating relevant information effectively to/from other teams within Fernish as well as business partners

· Provides administrative support deemed necessary to sales leaders


· Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Business or any related field

· Proven experience in creating sales proposals

· Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets - ability/aptitude to learn/create spreadsheets using advanced formulas (V-lookups, IF statements, pivot tables, macros)

· Technical acumen that assists in learning new software and technology platforms for simple input/update tasks and data extraction tasks

· Experience with Salesforce is an advantage

· Strong verbal and written English communication skills

· Demonstrated attention to detail

· Ability to stay organized and multi-task efficiently

· Strong problem-solving skills, proven ability to identify and resolve problems

· Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing and competing priorities

· Sense of urgency and team collaboration

· Must be willing to work on US Pacific Time (night shift)

·  Available to start ASAP
