The main responsibilities of a SAP FICO Business Analyst include:

  • Provide technical expertise in solution proposals based on business requirements in the Finance area
  • Collect and clarify requirements, align to system capabilities, identify potential gaps, and develop the project objectives/scope, cost, and high-level timeline
  • Align with business stakeholders on business-related tasks and/or process changes that are required to support the deliverables.
  • Document functional requirements for review with technical teams and facilitate solution design
  • Develop test plans and scenarios to validate requirements during user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Conduct systems testing, integration testing, and user's buy off to validate that system changes and/or enhancements are aligned with business requirements
  • Prepares training materials related to FICO modules and conducts classroom or virtual training for business users
  • Develop go-live plan, facilitate deployments and migration cut-over activities
  • Monitor post-deployment results, facilitate hand-over to production support and collect/document lessons learned
  • Provides application maintenance support, taking care of concerns and errors encountered by business users, doing the necessary analysis and investigation, and finding/applying permanent or workaround solutions
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining required project documentation, including but not limited to functional specifications, business procedures, quick reference guides, and user manuals
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with technical and business stakeholders, keep tasks on track, address issues, and prevent delays. Publish meeting minutes and action items. Follow-up on action items to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Manage program changes, enhancements, and fixes to address technical or requirements defects
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities
  • Publish monthly and quarterly management reports


To apply for the role, you must have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Finance
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in core SAP FICO modules
  • GL, AP, AR, AA, Costing
  • Ability to lead and execute minor projects and enhancements in Finance area
  • Extensive experience with month/quarter/year-end production support
  • Experience with SAP tools like FSCM or BPC or Concur is a plus
  • Must have experience in creating Queries.
  • Must be willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa twice a week
  • Dayshift Schedule
