About the Position
Reporting to the Head of Household , you will oversee the financial control for all of Panda’s Household Operations in Ireland. This basically consists of 300K customers with an annual turnover of € 80 million over 12 depots.
This is a hands-on role with a very strong commercial focus.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cash Reconciliations to Bank Statements ensuring all monies are accounted for.
Ensuring our SSC in Fassaroe, Bray , Co Wicklow have all the information and explanations they require for month end close.
Dealing with Auditors for annual audit and on other various occasions throughout the year.
Review of weekly management accounts.
Reconciling weekly and monthly management accounts and ensuring no variances.
Preparation of board packs and working closely with the Head of Household.
Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
Developing Reports using DIVER REPORTING Bi tools.
Liaising with key stakeholders throughout the business.
Assist non Finance Managers in compiling Stats / KPI’s etc.
Over time – to coach, lead & develop the finance team.
Implement standard operating procedures.
Participate in future Due Diligences on Targeted Acquisitions.
Experience/Requirements
Qualified Accountant ( ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA ) with minimum 5 years PQE
Previous Financial Control experience essential
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be expected to communicate with staff at all levels – Entry level up to Senior Management.
