SENIOR QA TESTER

Mission:

Collaborate with other technical staff to create effective and reliable software updates and hotfixes to support our user base.

Expected Outcomes:

• Create and design application and software testing processes
  • Automate testing and problem-solving of various tasks that work towards a development process
  • Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
• Monitor system and software functionality
  • Manage multiple projects within design specifications
• Ensure offerings are entirely functional and provide quality assurance for software products particularly new launches and custom design
  • Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes
  • Collaborate with fellow software QA leads to develop test plans and new approaches for seeking out bugs and hotfixes

Skills, Qualifications:

Must-haves

• Ability to write and delivery test automation scripts, as a means of converting manual testing to automated.
• Experience in Java and Selenium or other automated script.
• Critical thinking skills are essential to ensure the optimum client experience; must be able to generate multiple scenarios in testing period.
• Demonstrated understanding of various automated testing tools / techniques.
• Ensures responsiveness of applications.
• Establishes and implements rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems
• Working knowledge of JIRA

Nice-to-haves

• Post Secondary education in Computer Science or related field.
• Certification in QA Testing
