The ServiceNow Expert is responsible for technical design and implementation of the modules associated with ServiceNow CSM and ITSM. The candidate will focus on the enhancement and optimization of ECI’s domain separated ServiceNow instance, used for IT service delivery to its clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to develop technical designs within the CSM/ITSM/FSM modules.
• Work with delivery teams to identify opportunities for enhancing the integration between CSM and ITSM.
• Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of the ServiceNow integration
• Provide expertise on all technical questions related to development on of ServiceNow
• Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration tests
• Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes and build this into the design.
• Understand the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project Develop custom API/web services for integration points into our instance from customers
• Maintain technical documentation including design documents
• Assist installation and testing of new ServiceNow releases
• Assist in testing and roll out of new modules in the CSM/ITSM/FSM suite
• Manage the promotion and testing of development across sub-production environments.
• Communicate ServiceNow process, operations, and capability information to all levels of management effectively.
• Monitor performance of the instance


Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with ITSM and CSM:

  • Case Management
  • ITSM
  • FSM

• Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow CSM, FSM and ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management,  Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.
• Expertise in domain separated instance(s) of ServiceNow
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system
• Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
• Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSOSAML Setup, and ServiceNow APIs such as GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, GlideSystem, gFrom, etc.
• Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
• Should be well versed in communication (English, Written and Oral) and be able to co-ordinate efficiently with peers and Stakeholders.
