Position Summary

The Service Desk Expert (Service Desk Tier 3) is responsible for providing our clients with ‘best in class’ service for any and all desktop-related issues they may have. It is expected that the Service Desk Expert (Service Desk Tier 3) has an advanced understanding of troubleshooting and resolving issues with workstations and how they interact with other network and domain devices. The Service Desk Expert (Service Desk Tier 3) should be the final technical escalation point for any and all remote desktop-related issues and should be able to provide upskilling, documentation and innovation to the Service desk team.

 

Technical Requirements

  • Moderate windows server 2012/2016 administration
  • Moderate networking (DHCP, DNS, Mail Transport, IP Troubleshooting, DFS)
  • Troubleshooting VPN and Citrix including administration
  • Provide end-user software support on common productivity technologies such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune (Advance knowledge).
  • Support and troubleshoot common mail platform and security systems such as Microsoft Azure, Exchange, Proofpoint Essentials and Mimecast (Advance knowledge).
  • Provide support of Active Directory as an administrator and task such as add/remove users, password resets, Group Policy application, task scheduling.
  • Understanding of e-mail and spam technologies
  • Hands-on hardware experience with desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Familiarity with file system support including permissions, sharing, backups and restores
  • Experience troubleshooting networking issues including: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS
  • Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016; installation, and configuration
  • Android/iOS/Windows Mobile/Blackberry configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Must have MDM Solutions (XenMobile, AirWatch, MobileIron)
  • Virus and spyware removal
  • Experience with Phishing attempts (SPF)
