WEB DESIGNER

SOCi, the marketing platform for multi-location brands, is seeking a Web Designer to join
the company’s fast-paced Implementation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for
designing page layouts and building templates that are easy to understand, navigate and
use, and adhere to design standards and specifications. As our Web Designer, you will
work with the front-end developer to create intuitive, attractive user interfaces to engage
customers. Your duties will include taking requirements, creating mock-ups, and designing
layouts while balancing the usability, visual appeal, and technical feasibility of the designs.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience as a Web
Designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
Design page layouts and templates.
Testing and improving the design of the website.
Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with
branding for clients.
Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and
wireframes.
Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

3+ Years experience as Web Designer
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML
and CSS
Good understanding of search engine optimization principles

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Excellent visual design skills
Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and
technologies.
Creative and open to new ideas

Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
Excellent communication skills
