University of Arizona Offers New Virtual Learning Opportunities

With the COVID-19 pandemic pushing everyone to stay indoors, businesses have adapted by moving a huge bulk of their operations online while their employees worked from their respective homes. Students, on the other hand, had to face the challenge of switching to virtual online classes from their usual classroom setup during the middle of the semester, while educators quickly had to adopt their curriculum to something more virtual-friendly.

A New Learning Curve

Face-to-face classes through zoom calls, digital worksheets, online exams, quizzes, and email school updates have now become the new norm for every student trying to keep up with their academics despite the global crisis. This was also as much of a learning curve for teachers as it was for their students, having to find new ways on how they can effectively implement distance learning while staying on track for the school year. However, online classes aren’t something new, with colleges and universities offering courses that can be pursued online and a small percentage of the student population engaged in homeschooling. With the right resources and support, learning from a distance can be successfully achieved especially with the rise of new technological innovations and various online learning tools that have been made readily available.

Along with the new challenges distance learning poses, KMC has partnered together with the University of Arizona in bringing together a comprehensive set of online college courses that can be pursued right here in the Philippines. The flexible workspace provider is opening its doors to its full portfolio of coworking spaces for Filipinos who want to pursue undergraduate and post-graduate courses that are being offered by the university. This new and extensive online program brings forth new opportunities to the community that allows them to get an international learning experience without having to leave the country, safely seated in one of the Philippines’ most forward-thinking flexible spaces.
